Your data

Privacy policy.

This page describes the personal data processed when you visit elephantis.io, what it is used for and the rights you have. The guiding principle: the site collects the bare minimum, and nothing leaves for a third-party service without an explicit action on your part.

Data controller

The data controller is Elephantis, a French SAS with its registered office at 60 rue François Iᵉʳ, 75008 Paris, France.

Contact: contact@elephantis.io.

Audience analytics (Swetrix)

The site uses Swetrix, an analytics tool self-hosted by Elephantis, with no cookie or tracker placed on your device. Your IP address is processed server-side, for the duration of the request, solely to build aggregated statistics (page views, country, browser type); it is not stored in a form that could identify you.

Purpose: understanding how the site is used, in order to improve it. Legal basis: the publisher’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The analytics server is hosted in the European Union (Hostinger infrastructure), on a server operated by Elephantis.

Appointment booking (Calendly)

The “Book a call” page offers a booking calendar provided by Calendly. It never loads automatically: nothing is sent to Calendly until you click “Show the calendar”.

If you display the calendar and book a slot, the details you enter — name, e-mail address, chosen slot and optional message — are processed by Calendly LLC, a company based in the United States. This transfer outside the European Union is covered by the safeguards described in Calendly’s privacy policy.

Purpose: setting up a call at your request. Legal basis: your consent, expressed by the click that loads the calendar, then pre-contractual steps for the appointment itself.

Blog video (YouTube)

One blog article offers the replay of one of our webinars, hosted on YouTube. Like the calendar, it never loads automatically: the thumbnail you see is served by us, and nothing is requested from YouTube until you click to start playback.

If you start playback, the player is loaded from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s no-advertising-cookie mode; Google LLC then receives your IP address and the technical information needed to stream, and may set its own measurement cookies. This transfer outside the European Union is covered by the safeguards described in Google’s privacy policy.

Purpose: letting you watch the webinar without leaving the site. Legal basis: your consent, expressed by the click that loads the player.

Contact e-mail

If you write to us at contact@elephantis.io, we process your address and the content of your message for the sole purpose of replying and following up on your request. Legal basis: legitimate interest, or pre-contractual steps if your request concerns our services.

Retention periods

E-mail exchanges and booking-related data are kept for three years after the last contact. Traffic statistics, aggregated and non-identifying, are kept without time limit.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the following rights over the data that concerns you:

  • right of access — obtain a copy of the data we hold about you;
  • right to rectification — have inaccurate data corrected;
  • right to erasure — ask for your data to be deleted;
  • right to object and to restriction — object to processing based on legitimate interest, or ask for it to be paused;
  • right to portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.

To exercise these rights, write to us at contact@elephantis.io. We reply within one month.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority.

Cookies

The site itself sets no cookies and no trackers: neither browsing nor analytics use any.

Two exceptions, both behind a click of yours: the Calendly calendar on the “Book a call” page, and the YouTube player for the webinar on the blog. Either may set its own cookies, and neither loads until you ask for it.
